In order to be approved for paintball, any goggle system has to meet or exceed ASTM standards for paintball goggles.
If you want to spend $70 on a pair of goggles, look at the V-Force Profilers.. they're in the same price range, available in Canada, ASTM approved AND one of the more popular paintball goggles in the last 10 years. |

You probably want to avoid ordering from there if you have a choice (there's plenty of horror stories if you dig around the forum). Also find out what the rules are at local fields: if you're playing on paintball fields you may require actual paintball goggles, however on private fields you may be able to use much superior tactical goggles. |
thanks matt and drake for the quick reply...actually, this was a spare goggles given to me by my brod-in-law when we visited them in california...and since i'm thinking of going back to playing airsoft again after moving here in BC 2 years ago and not having a proper paintball mask ( we often use safety glasses in the UK ), i wonder if i can use it...
thank you again and more power... |
