where to buy Surefire? ED2 defender?

Hello all
where do you buy your surefire flashlights online ?
I want to get a E2D LED Defender, can I find it in country - is it a problem to import?

thank you.

You can get them cheap on ebay.
There's no problem getting them in.
I have one myself.

No issue with importation, unless it's the more vertical products like the HL1 lights or their weapon lights.

I'd look around in specialized light forums to try to get a deal, I got most of my lights over here:

Finally, why LED? Incan has the better output, though it does depend on your application. If you look around CPF you should find a table that explains what rechargeable configuration you want for your light along with what upgrade bulb to get.

EDIT: I got an M3 light, bunch of rechargeable cells and charger, upgraded bulb for under 250$ scrounging around. I now have a light that costs fuck all to operate and give me 380+ lumens for about half an hour on every pair of cells.

no particular reason, I don't know enough about lamps. I just want the high output and the 'scalloped tailcap'.

DStactical seems to be down
thank you!

Incan will push more lumens out, although stock both lights will perform similarly. It depends if you intend on upgrading or not. Either way, try to play with both kind of lamps to see what you prefer. In most work situation I would probably consider LEDs since they flood better, but for a tactical application I'd still go incan.

Prefair, SAIL have some.
I'd be weary of buying on Ebay. Too many replicas floating around.

I have the E2D and it's a very good light. I'd buy the LED E2D now.
I Also have the 6P LED Defender, wich is close to the E2D LED Defender, but a little cheaper.

Agreed, ebay isn't the best source, though I've never seen a replica that I can't tell apart from the real thing, but with money on the table that's still sucky.

That's why I suggested a dedicated forum like CPF, low price on used goods, reputation system like here.

But there's no E2d LED Replicas out. Beavers Surplus in Toronto has them too.
After I touched a Surefire, I don't want to touch anything else. LOL I love my E2D LED.

Well, you could get a Fire-Kylin flashlight that's identical to a Surefire E2DL (without trademarks).
