Dis ist das WW2 section, ve have NEIN krappy modern gizmos, GTFO! :D

Don't really care what the finish looks like, as long as it is wood it can be refinished.
Just hoping for a good solid reliable game worthy platform.

Yes, a decently priced gameable K98 would be a winner.

lmao wasnt the kar98 a modern gizmo back then, your logic perplexes me....
anyways a mag fed spring kar98 or a mag fed gas kar98 would be good, no more shitty shells please.

but yes, wood wood be nice (couldn't resist), though knowing G&G i'd wager a guess it'd be plastic......

In theory, alot could have been called "The modern fancy gizmo of today" back then.
(IE - MP43/44/STG-44, vampyr night sight, Tiger tank, etc..)

But, when comparing a WA2000 to a K98?

The WA2000 and the K98k are both German rifles... the WA is made by Walther... which is German

exactly what I am thinking - yet I am willing to give them a chance with their CO2 powered version - I will wait till reviews of the G98k are out. In the mean time, I am planning on building my own Kar98k.
