Will a KSC magnesium bolt work in a HFC M11?

are the parts interchangeable beetween companies?

Dozer_01 December 12th, 2006 21:19

I know the hopups are different for sure. The bolt may fit differently. I took a look at airsoft retreat and they seem to be clueless on the matter. I guess we will never know (insert x-files theme)...

i also have a question about the mac 11 bolt. (for some reason i am not allowed to post new threads >:|) will the ksc magnesium bolt work in my sd 203? my brother stole it out of my drawer and used it in his stupid movie. he dy fired it on full auto for like 20 seconds strait. i know that prbably *significantly* decreased the life of my gun. the problem with my bolt is that the small tube that pushes the bb into the barrel has come unsoldered (i think) and super glue doesn't work. (it needs to be able to move backand forth so, gluing it to the spring or getting a new bolt is all i can think of) pls help.

What exactly is an SD 203? Could you give us a link to that? Or a brand name?

macfreek February 26th, 2007 18:29

so like yeah. i fixed it. i still have no idea what the sd 203 thing is, but it might be ksc. so i took it apart and stuck that lil' thing back in there. you just need to push it back into the part from whence it came. in the process, you need to unscrew a few things to get to the main gas assembley.

yes i am happy that i fixed my gun =D

should i post this in the gas doctor forums?

HFC Corporation says it wont, but...

To answer the original poster's question:

I emailed HFC directly, asking them if the Magnesium bolt will work in the HFC M11A1. They emailed me back saying "first we need to know what country you are from". They could have just said "no" but they didnt. They must have had a reason for asking about the country, so I told them i'm in the USA, and they emailed back a 2nd time saying "no it doesnt fit at this time"

Maybe someone else can email them from China or Russia or something, and see if they get the same answer.

It seems to me by looking at the diagrams of the KWA and the HFC M11A1,the parts are basically identical, even the clip/magazine is the same.

I guess the only way to TRULY find out is to buy a KSC magnesium bolt for $80 with shipping, and find out once and for all! :( Kinda sucks considering most of us paid $100 for the HFC M11A1.

Uh more like $250. You're from the USA.

yep, the HFC M11A1, plus the KSC metal bolt/receiver kit, plus shipping on both comes out to about $250 USD. I just bought an HFC M11A1 from Evike for $99. They typically sell for about $120 in the USA. But when it comes to parts, you mostly have to order those from China, luckily shipping from China to the USA is cheap. :) Next week i'm going to order the KSC Magnesium Bolt and upper body kit from Hong Kong, and see if it fits on the HFC M11A1. If not i'll end up buying a KWA M11A1, and keep the bolt for a backup in case it breaks. I'll post the results here and in other forums.

Yes, Magnesium Bolt works in HFC M11A1

Hey everyone,

Just a followup to my previous post. I received the KSC Magnesium Bolt, and KSC Metal Upper Receiver in the mail from DenTrinity today, and it fits in my HFC M11A1 like a glove! It fits perfectly :)

So the HFC M11A1/Team SD-203 M11A1 is fully upgradable with KWA and KSC parts, contrary to what the different M11A1 makers may tell you. they are all the same gun, and parts are fully interchangable. I've also tried KWA Mags in my HFC M11A1, and they work as well :)

The SD-203 M11A1 is made by "Team SD". They took over production for HFC on the M11A1's, and included trademarks, and metal 'lined' abs parts to make it stronger. The SD-203 version is stronger and better than the HFC version.

Just so you know before you get flamed, getting guns from China or US from here is almost impossible.

Some parts are OK (mostly internals, magasines with no fake bullets, RIS, accessories)
Metal receiver parts are NO GO, along with pistol frame, silencers, mags with fake bullets....

AND price for everything is about twice the price you can pay... sucks that is all.

Yeah, it sounds exactly how things are here in New York City. They are VERY illegal here, but I can order parts, gas, BB's etc.. When I order guns, i have ordered to another state or province, and pick them up at a friends house :(. I will say one thing, I stopped shipping to other states after I spoke with some Chinese "shipping experts," who informed me 90% of guns shipped to countries or states that are illegal from China make it to their destination, including New York City and Canada :) The authorities just try to scare us by saying they confiscate everything, when in reality its far too difficult to catch most things coming through. I'd tell them "this is an Airsoft Gun, not a BB gun!!" LOL, Just my 2 cents.

Shipping things to the US and shipping things to Canada are a whole different matter. Don't pretend to know how easy or hard is it to get airsoft guns into Canada, because it's nearly impossible.

No worries, i wont pretend because I know for a fact. :D I'm sorry you have had problems shipping to certain parts of Canada. Rest assured, I, and my friends have had no problems shipping airsoft guns and accessories to Toronto & Montreal... Again, the Canadian authorities want you to beleive that they have the ablility to confiscate everything, when in reality they cant even contain 5% of illegal goods being shipped into Canada. And add to that Guns in any form are the least of Canada's worries. If you live in a small province, I can understand your fear of having things shipped, but if you live in a large Canadian city, you have nothing to fear.. I moved to New York City last year, and you think gun laws are tough in back in Canada? you've seen nothing compared to New York's gun laws. And I have had many airsoft guns shipped to Manhattan over the past year.. Believe me, Customs uses the "fear of Jesus" routine to keep people from shipping stuff, and it appears it works :)
