Weird problems with airsoft guns or gear

Figured people could post pictures here of problems that are funny or totally weird! I've heard of BB's hitting/getting stuck in weird things and weird ways. I posted these in my Doctor's thread and figured Id post them here for all to see and go http://www.airsoftcanada.com/images/..._confused2.gif at....

This happened while trying to sort out a Gremlin with the SAM-R!

Yup those are 5 BB's JAMMED into the end of the FLASH HIDER! I took a screw driver and a hammer and STILL the BB's wouldn't unjam! BTW the picture below was taken of the barrel standing STRAIGHT up and me taking the picture down at it.

http://img377.imageshack.us/img377/6924/dscf0358pb6.jpg

I finally realized I had to unscrew the flash hider! Once I did that the one BB in the center popped out. The other 4 had to be pried out one and a time! And I am talking using some FORCE to do it!

So I cleared this jam! Ive never had this happen before OR since I tightened my flash hider on as much as humanly possible!

I slapped a madbull noveske kx3 sound amp flash hider on my craptastic TF mp7, which does not have a standard 14mm barrel. So I used tape to make up the width difference. I eventually noticed some rattling coming from the front and when I looked inside a whole mass of BBs had gotten stuck behind the sound cones.

I let my friend borrow my Glock 26A for bit, returns it to me and says "something's wrong!"
SO! I take a look at it, and guess what... a bb's jammed in literally the very back of the slide, where no bb should ever be. jammed behind the place where the gas from the mag enters the gun, the name of the place escapes me... (it's late dammit!)
So here I am going "What in the holy hell could you have possibly done to have this happen."

Took a lot of work to fix... but I did eventually.

At TTAC3 after a night of new players were finished, Brian shows me one of the M9 mags that had "trouble firing", one of the players had forced two BBs into the upper gas port.

Drake August 11th, 2008 06:54

@Drache: is it me or does your inner barrel look too short?

Xenos-Fear August 11th, 2008 11:40

Huh ! Weird ! The BBs didn't even blow when they stacked....

CDN_Stalker August 11th, 2008 12:02

My superintendant came by last April to do the annual smoke detector inspection/battery replacement, and I was later told he found a BB inside the basement detector. Lol

509mm Madbull barrel so it shouldnt be too short! If you're talking about the second picture, that is looking at the BOTTOM of the flash hider. The gun is in the next room.

The reason I think this happened is because the flash hider wasnt screwed all the way down!

I left Toronto in May, arrived in Bermuda, left Bermuda in August, got to Miami to visit the girlfriend. Haven't seen a BB the entire time.

I come back to Bermuda last week, and my girlfriend calls me up: "Tom, I just stepped on a BB on my floor. What the hell."

Dusti69 August 11th, 2008 13:12

spose thats better than having them in almost every pocket of everything you own and having to empty them out of your sneakers and boots before you put them on. stepping on a bb in your bare feet is no fun. even on carpeting

Only really wierd issue I have is with my KSC Glock 17. The gun is pretty much flawless and dead accurate. However, KSC Perfect BBs jam up the magazines and it misfeeds. I've shot every type of BB, from cheap Crosman .12s, Marui, KSC, TM, Velocity Arms, Metal Tech, and Bastards. They all work flawlessly except for KSC, which without exception jam up my mags. I have 4 mags for the pistol, and it's the same result with each.

Theres a reason they call them KSC Defects... erm i mean Prefects...

KSC has high quality everything minus BBs, their bbs are some of the worst ive ever seen.

just disassembled my galaxy mp5k, did nothing with the gearbox only toying around the hopup and barrel, assembled it and now the gear seems stucked and wont shoot... already at the gunsmith to fix it...

That's not weird...more like bad tinkering ;)

Skladfin August 12th, 2008 12:53

well ive been using KSC perfects and it hasnt let me down at all, in fact it chronos at 4FPS deviance over 20 shots. It's pretty awesome

kashimaa August 15th, 2008 08:15

I have also heard only good thinks about the KSC BBs.

Crunchmeister August 15th, 2008 08:18

I never had any problems wtih KSC BBs in any of my guns except my KSC Glock. 100% failiure 100% of the time without exception. Otherwise, they feed reliably in all the other guns I've tried them in so far. I have several new guns now since I last used KSC, so can't vouch for those.

Auklin August 15th, 2008 08:49

What did you achieve with the hammer :P

G.Sgt Marty January 22nd, 2009 15:03

After a game once I came home and put my weapons and gear away (not a BB in site)......A week later I went to put my Marpat Uniform on for a game and as i went to put my pants on like 20 BB's dropped to the floor out of my Uniform Pants. to this day i still cant think of how they got in there?

Sergeantmajor January 22nd, 2009 17:12

Leprechauns must have done it, they're sneaky little creatures those Leprechauns.

Millhouse January 25th, 2009 18:09

Is it bad that I'm no longer concerned about finding bb's in the catbox?

Doesn't bother the litter bugger at all...

georgehutchison February 2nd, 2009 23:36

well this is not so much weird as a little funny. A good friend of mine who is rather new to the forum told me of his bad luck on the classifieds. He has been looking for that perfect new gun and everytime he thinks he has one in mind the same guy buys it. He came over to my house and was so happy he was able to buy his new gun before that rich prick banana bought it. Seems everytime he wanted to buy a gun, Banana bought it already. He commented that the guy must be loaded because he has bought like 10 guns this week. I laughed pretty good at this one. Banana must have one hell of a collection I told him. I wanted to let this go on for a while but i didnt have the heart and explained the selling process to him. true story!

youonlywish February 2nd, 2009 23:44

I've heard rumours there is an entity out there that goes around putting diced carrots in drunk people's pockets, just to fuck with their heads after they puke, because they don't know how diced carrots got into their puke.

Crunchmeister February 3rd, 2009 08:52

Not leprechauns. They're the BB gnomes...
