Reasons to love the G36!

http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m...E30/G36C-4.jpg

1.) It's a version 3 gearbox gun.
2.) It can be easily converted into a SL8 or XM8 or G36C or G36K.
3.) It is fairly affordable.
4.) The gearbox comes out with very little disassembly. (Remove mag well, push back hop-up, and pull the pistol grip.
5.) Many rails for accessories.
6.) Rugged design, the G36C can take a beating.
7.) Constructed of high quality ABS plastic. (Resembles the real carbon fiber–reinforced polymer of the real gun.)

If anyone wants to add, please feel free.
Please don't bash the gun! ;)

BBS May 2nd, 2007 00:20

great peice there!
8.) it can play many roles (CQB, anti sniper, assaulter, woodland and whatnot)
9.) H&K design

btw is this a CA or a TM?

Lakonian May 2nd, 2007 00:23

It's TM :p

And identity ... your gun is poop. I think it's almost as poopie as your 4.3, ya friggin' gorrilla tit.

I'm joking. It's very nice... can I touch it?

Identity May 2nd, 2007 00:28

Haha this ain't my piece, I'll have pics of my piece soon enough.
It'll be much sexier than what you see up there!
It's top secret ;) untill this summer.

AcidFire May 2nd, 2007 02:50

philstructo May 2nd, 2007 03:01

well I must say I am a fan of the G36 now

kalnaren May 2nd, 2007 10:28

-Long Barrel (G36)
-Very modular
-Very sturdy, made of Glass Fiber, not ABS (CA Version)
-Very light for a rifle of it's size

Styrak May 2nd, 2007 11:56

When I saw this thread, I thought you were going to talk about the real G36. *Grumble*...

lol. Real G36s aren't as appealing to me, as I will probably never own one :p

Acidfire, your set-up is goddamn sexy! I think this should be the Official G36 porn thread.

Galahad May 2nd, 2007 14:43

I just got my G36 this week, I haven'y even used it yet and already I love this gun. Although I don't like the stock scope very much, after the summer when I have some money I want to put a G36C toprail on it and maybe an ACOG or something similar. Has anyone done that with the full length G36 that could reccomend any good parts?

Amazing KG3 May 2nd, 2007 15:15

I loved mine, but i find the degree of customibility limited. I love the stock K model though.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
any gun that fires a round in -30 weather and explodes is not rugged. (theres a picture of G36 that exploded from being fired in sub-zero temperatures, having trouble finding it though)
I had a G36K, and its a great starter gun, it IS really comfortable, and CA can actually make decent fibreglass (or glass fiber as they insist on calling it)
but i had it slung on my back and my shovel scratched up the body, so that was the last plastic gun i ever bought lol

the other thing is the magazines....worst...mags....EVER, they're bulky, they catch on everything, you need special pouches to hold them, and the tabs break off, its the biggest 30 round 5.56 mag out there, I'd pick an armalite over a G36 simply because you can fit atleast 3 M16 mags in a double G36 pouch

Amazing KG3 May 2nd, 2007 17:06

i hated the mags for that thing.

If I hadn't already spent over $100 on mags, I would consider converting to VN M16 mags when I do the SL-9 conversion... unfortunetly that would be a lot of money waisted on G36 mags.

Yea... I hope someone sells the stock alone... the entire conversion kit is around $550.. same as what I paid for the gun alone.

Amazing KG3 May 2nd, 2007 21:37

Well i know his is a CA8-2 he got really creative with.

fireboy thats pretty sweet. Decide wither your keeping your original parts?

As for the CA8-2's sniper stock, I've already recommended to CA that they sell the upper Receiver and stock as a conversion kit and was told they'd consider it.

That would be awsome.

kalnaren June 14th, 2007 09:34

Wow Kos that's looks pretty good. I prefer something darker myself, but still looks great.

Lakonian June 14th, 2007 23:47

It's actually alot darker in person. It's just the flash that makes it look that way.

I'm probably going to add some CB accents one day...

maxx June 15th, 2007 04:59

they are sick guns. very versatile, can be used up and down and inside out.

good choice to go with H&K design
