SRC TAIWAN T91 ROC Combat Rifle + AK47
UPDATE!!!
SOON TO BE RELEASED SRC T91/G36E http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...s/DSC_0015.jpg http://www.ukasc.net/pics/srct91.jpg http://www.ukasc.net/pics/srcak.jpg Picture from www.ukasc.net "We have had quite a few updates this week so be sure to check page 2 for updates from earlier in the week if you aren't a regular visitor, just so you aren't out of the loop for the latest Airsoft news. We aren't quite done yet with the updates today either; SRC's AK47 is nearing release and will be fully metal, include a 600 round hi-cap magazine and wood stock. They will also be releasing a REPULIC OF CHINA T91 RIFLE, it's supposed to be a new generation special edition rifle, which I imagine means limited production runs. News in courtesy of Corporal at Drustvo DTI. " I gotta get my hands on that T91!!! |
Very cool:)
wow cool FMU+wood AK...... after i spent my $$ to build a FMU+wood TM ak47..... :(
Hooray for an expanding market and piles of new products!
More and more good things just keep appearing. And TM is getting taken for a little ride by all the companies slamming down the metal/wood guns all over the place. (or so it seems might happen... ) |
Meh, I'll still take TM's quality control and innovative engineering over anyone else's. Everybody else seems to just copy TM, especially these new Tiawanese and Korean guns coming out. Aside from STAR and maybe G&G, no one's trying anything new...
Meh. I'd take this over the ICS and G&G, not mentioning TM as I've never even concidered it.
The reason I like this is it's exacly what I want, full metal, wood, and a price that a normal AEG sits at, not two. For me, this would and likely will be a great gun, as I would likely keep it stock, I've got money for repairs, hell, for the price that the wood and metal would cost on a TM, I could put in a Systema motor and one of their Complete Mecha boxes. |
for once i really like the look of this armilite.
does any one know if the SRC armalite internals are good?
Yes
only issues with the src i worked on was the abs bushings and abs cylinder head. most companies use umhv plastic for bushings and cylinder heads as umhv will withstand impact and makes an excellent bushing material (it's been used in heavy indutry for decades). abs in the other hand is brittle and becomes worse in cold temps. but for under 300 bucks you could buy an ftk from gaurder or systema and still be at the same money as a tm.
is the gear box identical to the TM ones?
yes they are identical to the TM models.
any one know the release date for this baby? what do you guys think is better the CA slr105, or this.
Sign me up for an AK. :D
Already got a tm ak. This armalite does seem nice though.
actually the mechbox is a reinforced 6mm, at least it was on the one i worked on. much beefier than any tm ver II i've done. gears, piston, cylinder and spring guide were comparable. piston head used a easily removable screw rather than the plastic filler used by tm. switch was comparable as well. motor was a clone of the eg1000. identical in every respect.
oh OK that's good, so i can trust the gear box now. any one know the stock FPS?
well if its that great, then im pretty sure everyone would be going for this gun over the TM version. I hope it really is that good. any one know when its being released? i heard before New years. |
Other SRCs seem to shoot around 320, I'm gonna guess this one will be the same if not better?

agreed. the ones we chrono'd were all about 320.
i don't know, the SLR105 doesn't seem that appealing, but for some reason im attracted to it.
i guess the SRC AK is the way to go, all wood and all metal seems more tempting. |
And don't forget the money you'll be saving;)
In a couple of years, would we still buy as many TMs as we do now? :|
haha not bad, sounds like a good deal for someone who wants a full wood/steel AK.
I been keeping my eye on the CA AK74 though :) Metal stamped style reciver :D no need for expensive guarder kits! |
It never says full wood, just wood stock.
Are SRC M4's metal?
the ones i've seen were all plastic bodies. they do make 9 models with metal bodies. they have them at wgc shop.
UPDATE!!!
SRC T91 and SRC G36E will soon to be released!!! http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...s/DSC_0015.jpg |
LOL one year anniversay!
If you go to their website, they totally missed their goal of releasing new guns. Everything is like 3 months behind.
I'm going to get the SRC T91 and review it. If i see a GAS TUBE, I'll be very disappointing, since its supposed to have the piston function. Quote:
