Bolle T800

This may be a blatant noob question, but I've yet to actually find a definate answer on the web:
Is Bolle T800 = Bolle X800 = Bolle X800T?

Are they all in the one same product? Because when ever I search for T800s, I always get X800T, but yet on the forums, people always talk about T800s...

Are they just aliases for the same product, or are they all different products?

Thanks!

As far as i know, they're all the same.

FOX_111 October 30th, 2005 19:41

I confirm that.

Just make sure there is a Bollé logo on the bottom of the lens. That's how you know if it's a copy or the original Bollé.

Copy should be ok, but not at the full price.

There is one that is fully sealed (no gap between the lense and the frame, or rather, the gap is filled with foam I believe). Not sure what model that is though.

about how much can you expect to pay for a new pair? (fair price)

nic_s November 2nd, 2005 05:04

I paid $120 plus tax for mine. Best money I ever spent on my airsoft kit.

yanhchan November 2nd, 2005 07:44

120? I thought I saw it on this one obscure U.S. site that had it for like 60 USD.

nic_s November 2nd, 2005 16:10

Probably a knock-off. The real thing has a polycarbonate lens, which just on it's own costs $60 I think...

FOX_111 November 2nd, 2005 16:40

Best prices I'v seen is 100$.

69 dollars

CDN_Stalker November 2nd, 2005 17:34

Our team got a good deal on ours (I think 6 pairs were ordered), $89.95+tax. I agree, they are a superb value for what you get! I love mine and baby them. Considering they protect my eyes, rarely if ever fog on me (only deal with sweat running down the lens on occasion), I better baby them!

It's at SpecArms, $92.50 CAD

With the actual rate, it's 81$ and you have to add shipping from the states.

Then add Canadian GST and Duties on top of that! :(

how wierd is this:
bolle does not even list the x800Ts as a product on the website!!! (they have the x500s listed, but no 800s!)

If you have problem with your sinus, don't get this one. Now I have wiley-X SG1 and it's very better ... no pain, no headache

Droc November 2nd, 2005 23:12

wileys fog like crazy

Cheese November 2nd, 2005 23:18

last time I used wiley-x sg1, I fogged a little bit in the first half-day, after it was good. it depends how you put it on your face. In my case, because sinus problem, I prefer to fog a little bit instead to get an headache and be unfunctional

|2enegade November 3rd, 2005 00:22

hmmm... I do notice that while wearing safety glasses, the constant pinching on the upper bridge of my nose does cause headaches after prolonged use... is this a common problem with the x800Ts?

nic_s November 4th, 2005 04:31

Not that I've noticed. They're pretty ergonomic.
