You can contact any of our forum Admins, or directly to Drake / BloodSport, and tell whom you've contacted and how, if by email include the email address you used (this can be viewed from your sent mail folder). Please note though all our Age Verifiers are volunteers, their personal lives take priority over verifications so at times you may have to wait for them to respond, or get in touch with a different rep. None of our reps are required to come to you, they will provide you with a location they are willing to meet up at their conveinence you not being able to make that meeting is not their issue. Airsoft Age Verification requires you to get off your computer and travel at times to meet.


Yes, but your parent/Family Member is taking responsability for giving you the gun, treat that responsability with respect. The police will come knocking on their door if you get into trouble with it. Please note that a parent/Family Member will not be age verified on ASC unless he/she is an active player themselves.


No. How ever if your parents want to get involved in the sport they are welcome to do so. I recommend that they come out to a game and rent a few guns to see if airsoft is what they're into. Airsoft is not a baby sitting service and dumping you at a game for a saturday/sunday isn't what we're about (specially since some of us are trying to get away from the brats for a few hours).


The gun sales sections (AEG, GBB, Accessories) will be blocked. The other sales sections (gear, international) will be open to all users.


Yes, minors will have no access to the gun sales sections at all.


They will have to do it through an adult who is verified on this forum. The adult will take responsibility for the sale and will be held accountable if goods are not as described.

No. In person verification only. If you can't take the time to spend a few minutes to get verified then maybe airsoft isn't for you. The classifieds are not going to disappear over night and if they did it would be because airsoft was banned. If you don't have time to be verified you don't have time to play. Considering that to get a real steel gun you're looking at a full day of time 5 minutes hardly seems like an imposing task. Do NOT send PM's to verifiers or admins asking them if there is a way around this. This can lead to an infraction for attempting to bypass the age verification system!

How ever you can use it as ID and we won't require that you pay to take a safety course, pay for the verification, do an intense background check on you and have register all your weapons with us. We aren't trying to compete with the Canadian Government, we're just trying to keep toys not meant for minors out of minors hands.

No. Seriously we don't know you from adam, why would we have you verifying people? You must have been active with in the community for at least 2 year to verify people, with a good reputation.


I'll answer this question with another question. Are you 18 now?


You get custom shiney user title that says you're not trustworthy anymore. It will look something like this - Age Verified Status Revoked!! the other one you might end up with will say BANNED. Receiving one of these user titles is not a good thing.

We constantly have members posting the same questions over and over and apparently they do not understand the FAQ's about Age Verification. So here is the dumbed down version.


"I was verified two days ago but I still can not access the sales areas"

Yes as stated in the FAQ's it can take a couple weeks till everything gets processed, all the staff and verifiers are volunteers we have things we like to do away from these forums and do updates when we have free time to do so. Constantly posting asking (under 1 month from actually meeting with an age verifier) only wastes more of our free time to do updates and can lead to infractions for wasting our time.

"I messaged an age verifier but have not received a response"
Have you tried to contact more then just the one age verifier? Most cities have more then one verifier in them now for major cities. Also if you messaged them yesterday/couple of days ago remember they are volunteers and may not have been online or had time to set something up with you yet. Have PATIENCE, try contacting another representative in your town. Yes you might have to drive/walk farther to get verified by one of our UNPAID VOLUNTEER Verifiers who are taking their personal time to meet up with you.

"Why do I have to meet with someone in person, and can not just use a webcam?"
Why? Because shit is easily forged, faked, covered up/changed online. We do our meetings in person because we can ensure you are who is on that little piece of ID, that it is an actual government issued ID. Our verifiers also like to get a feel for those who are asking for verification, as Age Verification is not a right but a bonus here, we can reject age verification requests if we feel like it and even remove them at a later date if we find you have done wrong.

"My Verifier says they have submitted all my information and it has been over a month since they did but I still do not have access"
There is a couple notes for this one: 1) You have age verified tags under your name, therefore you do have access did you even try clicking on the section to get in???? 2) You do not have tags, are you sure you gave the verifier the proper spelling of your ASC user name including Upper and Lower case? The name you gave them must exactly match how you have it spelled to work. 3) We have decided to not grant you verification this could be for several reasons, you have previously lost your verification status and you met up with a different rep to try and get it back. You lied about your age in your profile and it did not match your ID, you have been a douche bag on the forums and we do not want you to gain more access, you showed up met with the age verification rep with your 12 year old brother that knew 100% more about airsoft then you and you gave a very bad vibe to our rep that you were only doing it so your brother could buy guns via your account and we the Senior Admins agreed with their concerns and rejected your verification. Oh By The Way we do keep a master list of names who we have rejected/removed verification from and why so that you can not just meet someone else and get around the system.

"I live in a different country, how do I get verified"
This one is so simple I can not believe it keeps getting asked. 1) Fly/Drive into Canada and meet up with one of our Reps in person. 2) Purchase a plane ticket for me, pay for my food and expenses and I will come to verify you where you are. 3) You are from out of country, therefore by the time you pay for shipping, taxes, duties and such I'm pretty certain that you could save a ton of money buying from a retailer in your own country. Yes we might have some parts/gear/etc that you really want but step 1 and 2 are your only options then at that point. Please stop whining and complaining about it, our house our rules.

Just wondering if I can get any help. Ive been waiting since October to be age verified. I met with rabbit and still havent had any updates. Can someone else who does the verification look into this for me ?

Well it says I updated your status and I have not done updates in over a week, so why are you posting saying you do not have access when you have had it for at least 10+ days??

Ok, it is not automatically verification, it takes some time for someone to put it in, please wait at least two weeks upwards to a month

It takes a few weeks to a couple months to be age verified and you were never able to post in any section that requires you to be AV'd like sales sections.

I was Verified at TAC 15 on April 15, 15 ..... ID check, info was written down ... any Update please

The last update was done like the day after TAC15, so I'm guessing it'll be upated within the coming week or 2. You're in the Queue dont worry.

Who did you meet? Did you PM them afterwards to make sure your info was correct?

How much does it cost to be age verified and to take the safety course? Also I saw something that all our guns need to be registered with ASC (if I'm reading that bit correctly), do our airsoft guns need to be present for the meeting?

That part was sarcasm about Canadian firearms laws.

First JohnnsonN Today is April 9 2015, the date you say you were verifyed on hasn't arrived yet ( I hate impatient time travellers)

Second Caelen you are not on the list waiting to be verified, for whatever reason.. Meet with a verifier give him accurate info or you will never be verified

Third Smokes if your meeting a verifier at a game sure take your guns , if your meeting him in a public place DO NOT take your guns, we only need to see I.D.

Only if you want to browse the AV sections (classifieds, AV'd discussion, etc). Otherwise, you'll still have access to the discussion forums.

Hmm... There are 2(3) ways of doing this then.
1) If you plan to come here (for business, vacation, or whatever other reason you may have to come here), then contact an AV'er in the area you will be in and hopefully, they'll be nice enough to accommodate you.
2) Find a way to discover if any AV'ers are planning to travel to the UK anytime soon for whatever reason and get in contact with them.

No clue who those guys are. Make sure you are getting verified by an authorized verifier for this site, and not just a retailers own records, as you must meet with one of our verifiers.

Bloodsport, its one of the age verifiers that are listed in the sticky on here its not just a retailer, his username is R.I.T.Z from Barrie

Looking at your account, your IP says you are a Telus customer from Alberta.

Considering that there is a retailer in Calgary who has AVer that work there, and a retailer in Red Deer which one of our Admins owns, and a retailer in Edmonton that has AVer's working there, not to count the multiple other Verifiers all through out the province one believes you did not try very hard......

So for a 46 year old man that is a poor attempt.........

FYI I work for a living too, usually putting between 50 to 70 hours in weekly, yet I still find time to help keep the site running, process AV requests, deal with whiners who are usually to lazy to walk 3 blocks to meet up at a local timmies (yes I had a person actually to lazy to walk to the Tim's across the street from their house after I drove 2 hours to meet them for an AV.......). So please give it a little effort on your behalf, and wait longer than a couple days for our VOLUNTEERS to contact you back. It's worth the short wait to gain access to more here.

Who have you contacted? A few of the AVers in the GTA area are also retail stores that you could always go into and get verified.

I'll be going to my first airsoft game soon; will that be sufficient age verification if I bring my ID in person? (SW Ontario)

I am curious... So please don't take this the wrong way.

Why do you ask to meet someone in person to be age verified? I wonder what the liability is if something were to go south during an impromptu meeting. I would imagine the adminstrators of this site would bars some responsibility.

I am in Ottawa and I am still waiting for a response to get verified.

Just curious that's all. I have never seen this type of verification for a sport before.

We verify people in person to keep a level of honesty and integrity in relation to the sales of airsoft guns on ASC. The community polices itself to keep scammers/fraudsters out of the mix and a relatively high assurance that the person your dealing with is on the level.

I don't see why we would have to go south to get age verified as it is a simple and painless process but if you insist and are paying may I suggest Cancun...

If you are implying that something terrible could happen during the AV process such as but not limited to (Earthquake, tsunami, nuclear/biological/terrorist attack, zombie apocalypse, ninjas or raging unicorns, ect...) rest assured that we have age verified thousands of members without such incident.

Should the un-inevitable happen it goes without saying that you are solely responsible for yourself.

How can we NOT take it the wrong way when you think meeting someone for a quick age verification can go south? What do you mean?

It's the same as meeting up for a kijiji sale or buying alcohol from a retailer. We have a product to offer that you're interested. Said product is regulated by law. This is a law abiding site that self regulates and decided to follow it by imposing guidelines for meeting regulations. You must be 18+ to buy simple as that. Asc is a product that allows you to BST and follow the law to the best of its ability AND provide accountability.

Worst that could happen is you get scammed and we call the police with the documentation on hand to follow through with an investigation. They do not have this implemented on Red flag deals or kijiji.

It is very simple. It is difficult to implement but it is done properly and successfully on these forums afaik.

Who have you tried contacting and when? It is the Christmas season so people are quite busy. We'll help get you in touch with your nearest verifier and you can set up a meeting with them.

James at B2 Airsoft in Edmonton is one of our reps as well, so you can kill two birds with one stone by hitting up his store, just make sure he's going to be there as you're driving reasonably far. If you have any other friends who wish to get age verified you can road trip with them to make it easier as long as they have active accounts. Don't forget your government issued photo ID either or you'll be doing the trip again.

sounds like you have been lazy and not met up with a verifier, and you will never be "automatically" verified.

It says "Age Verified" right under your profile picture..

Think admins pushed his verification through when he posted it. He had a sale ad up about an hour after he posted this.

because you cannot post on another persons sale thread you must PM/email them
this prevents the thread from being bumped prior to the 7day period and keeps thread clean

So I cannot post or do anything to get help. I sent a pm to the Kingston age verifier back in January and still no response. I just made a new account and I can actually post now and I sent another pm to the Kingston age verifier and still awaiting a reply. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I would really like to use the classifieds.

Yes it started off as temporary, till you decided to state that you were just going to make a new account and get it verified to bypass the ban. At which time your ban was changed from temporary to permanent. Good that you did finally clean up your dealing, but your reactions is what made the bed you lay in. Down the road things can change, but for now it stands.

Who also happens to have the exact same date of birth as you? Forum rules very clearly cover duplicate accounts. I will give you 24 hours to respond before banning your newest account (which will happen anyways so may as well use your original "suwal" one).

We are currently working to get a new active verifier in your area, we do have a few reps who mentioned they will be in the Ottawa region on and off this summer, please watch for their posts that they will be up there to arrange a meet.

I have done an age verification all the way back in April with an age verifier in Quebec City. Then a second time around July in Montreal. Both time I was assured my information was sent over and from there on they wouldn't have any control over the situation, but was assured it should go smoothly.

I was told by others (on Facebook and age verifiers from around Quebec) that I should have been approved a long while ago. It would appear that there might be a problem, but I've never been told what is the issue. I'm pretty sure there's plenty of people from Quebec to Montreal who can attest I am a real person who is most definitively an adult. And as I only began participating into airsoft related matters this year, I don't even have a past activity that might reason why I am not being verified. Could I receive an answer on my situation? Thank you.

I met with James at B2 airsoft in Edmonton when I stopped by to pick up a few things. I chatted with him about my struggle between looking at a GBBR or electric recoil gun, and he was kind enough to allow me to try out both in that little side room they have for testing guns.

I'm sure that years from now I will look back and curse his name for piquing my interest in such an expensive hobby, but I can't deny he was a great guy to chat with.

When I first came in and asked him about being verified, he hopped on the computer as I was standing there and informed me that he had just put everything through; maybe it didn't stick or something went wrong?

Are you sure? I just checked my User CP and my birthday is correct... maybe something got keyed in wrong? Feel free to send me a PM if I can help clarify this.

I 100% met with James, who 100% verified my ID before we got to chatting and I bought a few things.

your AV submitted info says June 22 1998 and your account is June 22 1988

Haha, definitely a typo then. The DOB from my profile is correct; 06/22/88- old enough to truly enjoy Space Jam.

I wish it were that easy to take 10 years off!

I’m assuming this shouldn’t be an issue to gain access to the rest of the EE, considering that I met with an AV who confirmed that I’m over 18, regardless of the typo.

Even if you were born in 1998 it's 2019 now so you're at least 18 by now. And even if you really were born 1998 that would mean you were like 9 at most when you created your account and met with James so...

Correct haha. It's an honest mistake for someone to input 1998 instead of 1988, but I have my doubts that James (or anyone) could mistake me for a 9 year old. There'd have to be something seriously wrong with the drinking water for a 9 year old to have a beard and gray hair like I do.
