Age Verification: How long does it actually take?
 

I went and got age verified in Richmond, BC and the guy said it can take up to 21 days for it to go through. It's been about 4 weeks now and still nothing :'(

Does it normally take this long?

Depends on the queue and how many applications the staff has. They usually process them in batches. 3-4 weeks is normal.

How long is a string?

It took two months for mine to go through.

Understand the staff are giving their free time to do this and dont get paid. Some times it just takes a while.

Trust me. Its worth the wait.

Ah, looks like you got AV'ed. I met with an age verifier about two months ago and still nothing though. :(

Does anyone know if the queue is usually jumbled (not first come, first served)?

They're processed in order of report... but sometimes oversights happen and sometimes errors are made and the AV needs to be redone, most often due to incomplete information.

Yeah, that's what I feared. I'll contact the age verifier I met with and see what's up. Is there anyone on the ASC staff that I can contact as well?

i got age verified friday. i guess i gotta wait a while now..xD

I met my verifier and got the AV rating on ASC and NSA within 2 days. But that's because the guys in Nova Scotia are pretty awesome.

I met my AV'er on Saturday and I believe by Sunday or Monday i was good to go. I still don't get why I had to submit a urine sample but whatevs...

ARe you kidding! the cavity search was the worse part.

you got the cavity search? poor bastard... I got a free coupon for a hooker and sample of blow.

I've been waiting now for 5 months. I've been told by Gren that he's submitted the info 3 times over already. This is getting quite ridiculous.

Mine took about a month.

Either he submitted the wrong info, or there is an issue with your account (DOB Mismatch, wrong info written down, something something)

I would contact another Verifier or have him look into what is going wrong.

Sometimes the verifiers post is missed by the staff. and like kaos said sometimes the wrong info is given or writtn down.

I don't mind taking a month or two for arrange a meeting and get age verified... But why it take so long to give me a reply of my initial PM...

that was my favourite part....I'd get AVed again if possible

age verifiers are volunteers, and we have lives outside ASC

I PMed about 12 guys and got return from one...
brick and mortar stores affiliated with these forums will AV you too

I don't mean to offend you or any age verifiers, I know you are all volunteers and have more important thinks to do. I really appreciate your work that makes this community a better place, I mean it. But it is a little confusing when I sent my application (in form if a PM) to an age verifiers and don't see any reply in several weeks. I don't know if the application is lost due to some server error, wrong setup, or alien activity, or the age verifiers received but missed it, or the application is received and is in the process of waiting for next meeting. It would be nice if I can get something like "Yes, I got your PM, just wait for the next meeting" so I know that my application is now processing.
That's all I was trying to mean in the previous post. Again I don't mean to complain or offend any age verifiers (Sorry if my previous post is offending) , I am just a little puzzled about how this thing is going. I really appreciate the volunteering work of all the age verifiers.
