any Long Motor

Zep January 21st, 2011 22:49

i saw the Systema Motor Long Power Torque Magnum. Or do you know of a better more powerful one?

should i be changing anything else once i get this for better play?

Sportco January 21st, 2011 23:08

I'm just curious why you want to change, in a CXP you normaly get a turbo 3000 not the usual infinity motor...

it has great torque, is rather sturdy... but is a bit noisy... but replace it with something else why?

Cheers

Pete

I would recommend you staying away from Systema Motors. From my experience, they cause more problems than they are worth. What is wrong with the stock motor? And what kind of performance are you looking for? I do like the Guarder and G&P motors.

Zep January 21st, 2011 23:23

Well nothings wrong with anything, in fact i just got it a few days ago, i want to get a higher fire rate and more distance. but i want to make sure i have everything covered.

so if you guys know what i would need would be great.. i dont know what to ask for etc

thanks :)

faster rate of fire: big battery
better accuracy: good hop up bucking and SCS
distance: adjust the hop up

edit: since you don't have any place for a bigger battery, a high speed motor like G&P M120 motor will do the trick.

whats a good place to get these things from or can i take it to a shop and have it done? just wondering. Cause im not sure if i want to mess anything up...

Might be a noob question but the cxp.08 is that the M4 cause i dont know...
Give me a real gun and i can do anything blind folded but all these parts and names are abit alien to me..

Cheers.

all are pretty simple to install and doesn't require a lot of knowledge. Only the SCS might be a problem if not install correctly. Look up a gundoc in your area in the gundoc section. Everything can be bought from airsoftparts.ca. Click on the link in my sig.

The CXP is a concept riffle designed by a philipeno player (doesnt really exist) it's a M4 dressed up like an MP5 ((without the mp5 weakness)) closeest weapon is the M4 tanker

Sportco January 21st, 2011 23:38

Higher voltage = Faster rate of fire

BUT ICS aeg's have a split gearbox design and 11.1v lipo are a bit agressive for that configuration
you could create a 10.8v nimh by putting some of the cells in the forestoke and the rest in the PQR box (( but I suggest you keep it healthy @ 9.6v))

awesome thanks, i'll see what i can do :)

Zep January 21st, 2011 23:48

i'll see if i can find some of those things.

HKGhost January 22nd, 2011 00:14

SCS

Zep January 22nd, 2011 00:17

yeah cause im lost lol.

HKGhost January 22nd, 2011 00:23

scs recommends using the System black bucking with the scs. I've been using that setup in a 470fps gun for awhile with no problems.

TokyoSeven January 22nd, 2011 05:08

G&P and TokyoMarui are both great brands for motors. I hear guarder motors perform really well too, although I have no personal experience with them.
