M41A pulse rifle
 

Hey ive been looking to buy a replica pulse rifle from the movie aliens to use for airsoft and was wondering if anyone out there might be able to help me find one for sale or point me in a good direction.

They have been pretty rare in the past, I may have only seen one or two of the kits on here.

Don't despair though since Ares is supposed to have a new release of one coming up.

Get yourself over to Kelowna or Kamloops to meet up with an age verifier and that will get you into the section that the people who sell stuff like that hang out. You'll still probably have to put in a special order but this will get you on the right track.

I believe most existing M41A pulse rifles are simply kits that are added to a Thompson AEG.
I am not entirely sure if any of these after market kits are still in production or if they are even legal to import. As stated above a few have appeared in this websites classifieds sale section every now and then but for the most part its a fairly rare item.

Despite the fact that it doesn't resemble any modern day produced firearm, its still a fairly dodgy idea to try and attempt to import one.
Since customs agents interpret the laws in their own way it would be a shame to lose such a big wad of money on a gamble.

I know alot of guys in the movie prop replica hobby have them. And some seriuosly nice stuff. But pricey. If you want me to talk to some of my friends in that hobby I can find out prices.

There is a guy in Missouri that builds off the Thompson. I can provide the info for contacting him if you want it.

Evike has an assembled display model for sale. It's not listed on their web site, so you would have to call. It's just shy of $1,000 USD. Oh, and it's Evike and you live in Canada, so it probably wouldn't happen anyways. But it was cool to see it there.

I have a mag can't remember where the rest of the AEG went, I remember a certain member of this board want to see if he can do a speed load with that thing and he ended up busting it.

*To the OP if you want quality replica of the pulse rifle you need to shell out at least $1000 if not more depending on the kit

The airsoft company ARES, is supposed to be making one. It was featured in the last catalogue. Just be patient :)

good luck finding one in country, even if you do after all teh cost it will be likely around the $700 mark plus the AEG you have to gut, total of the project will probably around teh $1200 by the time you are done

Hey sorry i havnt posted in a long time on this thread but i justed wanted to thank all of you for your help. Im still intrested in buying one if i can find it fairly cheap buy i dont really want to shell out 1000 bucks on one. If anyone can still help its greatly appreciated.

You can't be trying very hard if it's been a couple months and you still aren't AVed. You won't get one in Canada until you are.

I've seen a few go by over the years in the classifieds, cheapest one was 750 with a bricked mechbox.

This is kind of like trying to find a cheap Ferrari. Could you define cheap?

the G&P conversion kit around 400 depending on store and if u in canada its gona be WAYYY more since everything is pretty much double the price here so yeah you will be spending at least 800 just on the KIT then another 200 even if u getting a crappy CYMA tommy gun you will be shelling out at least 1000 +

theres one already built on the UNcompany site and thats 780 bucks USD so yeah its gona be at least 1200 imo

i have one back in Hong kong and i used the CYMA tommy gun for it, and needless to say its more of a wallhanger or show piece or plinker and cosplay piece not durable enough for an actual airsoft game

cant you order the conversion kit from like Ehobby and just buy a thompson in country?

Ok im just scratching the idea of this then becouse id rather not have to go through everything to assemble it and order the parts. I'd rather spend my money on something i know im not gonna have trouble with is gonna work in the long run i just need to find a good Aeg and try to get age verified so i can find a good deal on this site.
