Grey GEAR
sexy sexy
http://img641.imageshack.us/img641/3130/610xa.jpg it's Belgian and I know nothing else about this vest, but it's damned seksi. |
Damn that's nice stuff.... Beats SWAT riot loadouts hands down.
|
looks alot like the Interceptor OTV with the upper arm protector options installed.
|
I think it looks pretty cool. For SWAT use only of course, I don't see the MIL. with this haha.
Gonna say like rugger, looks like an OTV. |
Looks like a land ciras to me.
you can see the quick release system on the guy on the left, near his shoulder on the guy on the right at the bottom center of the vest. also the shoulders look like the ciras ones. I thought you didnt like those huge ugly vests jimski :P http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/j...g?t=1273668464 you can see both releases in this pic http://nitro85.free.fr/News/ciaslandtanod.jpg |
ahaha!
yeah I wouldn't play with that, but the color is beautiful ;) |
I don't think I've ever heard anyone call grey beautiful before, but its definitely damned cool looking. Probably more effective at night than black as well
|
Grey BDU, like those used by Bruce Power (nuclear reactor swat) is pure sex. With black gear on top, the match is awsome.
http://www.world-nuclear-news.org/up...20-%20SWAT.jpg http://www.swatseries.com/Images/TargetCoverBruce.JPG I can't find pics of their usual tactical loadout. Only the competition pics where they won prices. |
Could be just the lighting or my monitor but it looks like RG, no?
|
It looks RG to me as well. My CamelBak in RG is basically grey in most lighting conditions.
Of course, real grey gear would also be quite cool. |
Very nice, I want one now...
|
Top pic looks totally RG to me too
|
It look grey to me.
On both monitors. If the photo was tweeked, it could have been RG, because the overall color of the image look desaturated, with prodminant yellow and blue left. |

If only both shots where made with a Whiball in the frame...
Both look similar. But lighting is different. |
"RG"?
Real Grey? eaRl Grey? |
Ranger Green.
|
Ah yes.
I don't think the original pictures are green. |
Dunno if it's my eyes or in the first pic, the guy on the left has his door open?

I would think this would be good for SWAT and Boarding teams. Maybe we give them to the Navy so they can stop wearing those blue nasty gross things. |

Nah, was just checking his gear and it caught my eye. Maybe he's getting some fresh air. Maybe he's hot. hahaha

i could almost swear the first guys armour says "polite" instead of police... so remember when he is pointing a gun at you to say "please dont shoot me" and when he doesnt say thank you :P

I thought so too for a moment. Noticed the YYZ incident too, but the Man Rules prohibit speaking of such things. |
I believe the "zipper" in question is just the bottom zipper for the jumpsuit. Many one piece jumpsuits and coveralls have two zippers. One for doing it up and one for quick access to your bits to allow quick relief without getting undressed.
Just a though.. |
Rugger_Can has quite wisely identified the zipper issue: they appear to be wearing dark gray/charcoal coveralls (most likely Nomex flight suits) -- and that's the bottom zipper of it we see; the guy on the right, you can see has a knife (folder) clipped in his left leg pocket.
The image is also pretty desaturated; I boosted gamma and saturation and the colors become defined, revealing the gray coveralls and clearly RG body armor. Looking at the brightened image I'm thinking maybe an IOTV. |
I've wanted to try grey BDUs for indoor CQC games, mainly because I think it'd look great with tan gear, which means I wouldn't need to replace my pads, holsters, vest, etc with black or navy stuff :P.
|
That's what I love about Coyote Brown, you can wear it with just about anything. I suppose a similar case could be made about RG.

I'm still voting for the classic Black and OD combo. Either Black under and OD on top, or the other way around.
Can't beat the classics. |

Wrong Shape, As you can see the neck protector option attached to this IOTV is identical to the one pictured. As well The molle Attachment points match perfectly. I could be wrong but I spent a good 45 minutes looking at both and Ive made my verdict. |
heres a picture of the interceptors deltoid protectors, which to me, look nothing like the ones in the picture
http://www.globalsecurity.org/milita...oid-image1.jpg and heres a ciras with the armor https://www.sealsactiongear.com/cata...TL_DETAIL1.jpg and the deltoid pictures, that if you look in the first pic, have a loop attachment point http://www.skdtac.com/v/vspfiles/photos/EAG.401-2T.jpg you can see the loop very clearly on the guy on the right. you can even see that they are the ciras deltoid protectors also, the picture that jimski posted, have no molle attachment points on the shoulders, but instead the ciras velcro padding stuff, im not sure what its called, but the material that wraps around the shoulder straps |
How do people feel about guys coming to games dressed like this with SWAT patches on their equipment.......just curious

But as for you wearing it? Most people won't care. |
