Exactly, when isn't anyone trigger happy or frighten at close quarter you eventaully lit up someone close range. So, you can't say just because its under 200 fps it doesn't mean its not going to happen. Especially the eye, ouch!

germany 14 leagel drinking(beer only)
mexico 16 for cigs

You guys are right.. that is the way things may have been in the past.. but these are changing times. In the olden days and girl that was over the age of 12 was ripe for marriage and kids. But now you go to jail for that.. plus you have to be kept away from other prisoners because they hurt people that do that.. but thats not the point.. the point is.. just because things WERE done that way in the past doesnt make them right for current times. I dont care how mature a 13 year old acts.. they shouldnt be playing airsoft without a parent with them.. they should NOT be allowed to buy anything that shoots things.. that can be used to hurt people.. that goes for clear soft, sling shots, paintball guns, and BB guns.. god knows your just asking for trouble..

Most of the time I believe some rules are made to be broken.. but then there are times like these when I believe that they should be enforced better.. We live in a time when most people get away with so much.. and they still try to get more. I mean.. you can't beat your 13 year old anymore.. or they can call the cops on you.. they smoke, and do drugs.. and some even get knocked up.. the world is going to hell.. and they feel the have a right to do what they want..

Although.. I am a strong believer in Natural Selection.. so if anyone dies from their own stupidity.. like pulling an airsoft gun on a cop or something.. kinda has it coming.. and the more it happens.. the cleaner the gene pool gets..

I believe that the courts should be able to legally sterilize people.. rapists, preists, bad parents.. people that do bad things that in some way relate to sex.. that would solve alot of problems..

It's been talked over and over here on ASC. Laws are laws, we don't make them, and we don't attempt to change it here on ASC. We simply just follow and enforce them to the best we can; to protect the game sort of speak.

If you don't like the Laws, you can vote for the City Council, MPPs, and MPs that you like when you're 18. If that doesn't work, move to places where you feel you like the laws or convince your parents to move. If you don't like the 18+ law in Canada, you can move to US, Japan, or wherever they allow underage airsoft.
