Try firing the gun while holding the magazine as high up as you can with your hands and report back if that fixes it or you get the same thing?

I agree, mine clocked at 327fps - 333fps at my last game with a new cartridge in the mag. And if you learn to burst fire the gun instead of emptying the mag then it's a playable machine pistol at mid to close range. And the loud ratttattatata is sooooo fun.

MP7's are fun. I'm only semi-retired from airsoft...not dead...I got bored one afternoon and made a rail system for mine :). I think it turn out ok.
