Once I had a garbage bag full of porn that I could barely carry, that was a lot of mags.

lol
Used to carry 18x 68rnd M4 mags
Now I carry a 2500rnd box on my 249, spare 2500rnd box on me, 4000 rounds in my ammo pouches, and another 10,000 rounds in my ruck.
Make good and damn sure you never run out of ammo!

At least that good news that I won't ever meet you on a MilSim-type event !

Primary:

Usually 5+1 lowcaps.
If I expect a lot of shooting (either CQB or outdoor in a defensive setting), it can go as high as 8+1 on my 2nd line, and 4 additional ones in my 3rd line.

Secondary (pistol):
Usually 2+1 (loaded at real capacity)
In CQB, where the pistol is more likely to be used, it can go as high as 6+1.

Oh I think you're mistaken.... TC rolls with a bunch of guys who usually end up steamrolling the other team. But I think he rocks an AEG rifle an not a MG in those cases.

As for me, I used to do 5x30 rounders then went to 5x68 rounders and now do 5x120 rounders (but loaded up to 100 rounds each because of feeding issues after loading to full).

I like lows and mids TBH and prefer mid's for regular gamedays but will probably rock lows at milsims. I thought I would do the whole real cap thing when i started out but probably not going to do that.

6 Std caps usually light loaded to about 50 and 3 TM hicappa mags.

Most games I care to go to have ammo restrictions anyway I don't see the point of running around with 12 mags if I only really use 4 or 5 in any real engagement.

I've never been caught short especially mil-sim. Then there's always the knife.

Getting killed by a 350 lb fat man with a knife is a double burn in my books.

Actually My 249 is my primary, I only use the M4 as a backup, or for scrims lol

Incidentally, a condor gasmask pouch can conveniently hold 5 p90 mags by itself. I was thinking about stitching it shut so I could use it to hold more mags onto the field... but I'm lazy.

Eight 130 round MAG brand AR mags. Never had a miss feed and 1040 rounds lasts me a while

NANA March 25th, 2012 14:13

I work a mix load at the moment for my M4. I tend to carry much more then I fire.
3 80rd
4 68rd
4 30rd

And for my 1911 I carry 5 15+1 single stack mags.

Also i have to 2 80bb nades for my 203. More to come.

It works for now.

2nd Line
-7 Primary Mags
-1 Primary Fast Mag

2nd Line
-3 Primary Mags
-1 Secondary

phloudernow March 25th, 2012 14:32

I run 7 Pmag 120 round mid caps, but i only load about 80 rounds in them each due to the fact Pmags are known to jam or something if u load it to the max they wont feed or something but so far i have no problems :)

lordnordeth March 27th, 2012 00:06

5 120 rnd AK midcaps (with an overstuffed Hi-cap tucked into my butt-pack in case I'm desperate), and 3 GBB pistol mags (doesn't matter what pistol I'm using, I always have 3 mags...habit)
