My walmart in lower sackville nova scotia no longer has them behind glass.

Savage Eh November 5th, 2006 03:08

i was just at walmart and i tried to buy one. (wasnt serious about the purchase just wanted to see if theyd let me) and they wernt letting me:mad:

Moderate November 5th, 2006 12:08

Perhaps someone should ask the folks at wal-mart why the softair guns are not behind glass?

TaYLOR-182 November 5th, 2006 12:17

I dont think they should be selling them to kids that young. I think it'd be okay if the kids were 16+ cause then they'd have the sense to wear eye gear and such. At the wal-mart nearby here (Windsor, Ontario, Canada) they ask for ID to prove your age of 18+. I don't know if they do that all the time though. I think it just depends on which employee is serving you.

Dog Meat November 5th, 2006 12:26

and i was at a walmart yesterday and i was looking at them they all suck but this like 7 year old runs up grabs an mini uzi and runs to the counter with his mom sitting there waiting for them i don't think it's most of the parents faults they probly think it's made for little kids

Curtis Tactics November 5th, 2006 12:30

someone beat you to it dogmeat, anyways would wal-mart really change there policies? anything for a penny right. they must be competing with canadian tire, by keeping there softair outside of the glass walmart is getting an advantage over CT.

Grave November 5th, 2006 13:44

the walmart wear i live has em in the cages with the paintball and reall steel related stuff... and i tride buing one a few years ago and they didn't let me so its probably just that store that dosn't enforce it...

Dog Meat November 5th, 2006 14:08

(this is a little unrelated to softair but more to dagerous things out in the open)
I went to crappy tire for some epoxy and new saw blade while i was waiting in line i look over to a shelf and there was like 3000$ worth of fire works just sitting there in the open literally no word of a lie 5 steps away from the doors what have the excutives and ceos come to in today's modern life?

Moderate November 5th, 2006 17:55

Or just your store that does.

Curtis Tactics November 5th, 2006 18:18

the walmart at lougheed has some locked up and some not, pretty stupid if you ask me. i thought walmart was like a mcdonalds. anywhere you go its always the same. dont i guess i was wrong

underground November 5th, 2006 18:43

lol you shouldn't be taking pictures inside walmart, it is actually considered a criminal offense. Well keep in mind, not just walmart but pretty much any store you go into. Either they'll get mad or you'll get fined.

In that walmart they should have a cage or something. Jesus christ like a 7 year old kid could get one and the parent wouldnt think any wiser because it was free to grab. =/
