Hey guys, got age verified at Canada Wide Airsoft in Barrie over a month ago could i get an update on my case from an admin? Thanks.

No clue who those guys are. Make sure you are getting verified by an authorized verifier for this site, and not just a retailers own records, as you must meet with one of our verifiers.

Bloodsport, its one of the age verifiers that are listed in the sticky on here its not just a retailer, his username is R.I.T.Z from Barrie

I tried to get age verified.. I am a 46 year old man...I work for a living to get verified for this site I have stated looking for other sites...sucks.

Where are you located? How many verifiers have you tried contacting ?
(Keep in mind, the verifiers are volunteers & have lives outside of these forums.)

You joined the server 3 days ago...... you have not tried very hard apparently....

Looking at your account, your IP says you are a Telus customer from Alberta.

Considering that there is a retailer in Calgary who has AVer that work there, and a retailer in Red Deer which one of our Admins owns, and a retailer in Edmonton that has AVer's working there, not to count the multiple other Verifiers all through out the province one believes you did not try very hard......

So for a 46 year old man that is a poor attempt.........

FYI I work for a living too, usually putting between 50 to 70 hours in weekly, yet I still find time to help keep the site running, process AV requests, deal with whiners who are usually to lazy to walk 3 blocks to meet up at a local timmies (yes I had a person actually to lazy to walk to the Tim's across the street from their house after I drove 2 hours to meet them for an AV.......). So please give it a little effort on your behalf, and wait longer than a couple days for our VOLUNTEERS to contact you back. It's worth the short wait to gain access to more here.

Looking to get age verified. I have sent messages to multiple people in my area (GTA, Milton Specifically) with no replies yet. It has been about 3-4 weeks.

Is there any other way to get a hold of someone to help me?

Who have you contacted? A few of the AVers in the GTA area are also retail stores that you could always go into and get verified.

I'll be going to my first airsoft game soon; will that be sufficient age verification if I bring my ID in person? (SW Ontario)

I am curious... So please don't take this the wrong way.

Why do you ask to meet someone in person to be age verified? I wonder what the liability is if something were to go south during an impromptu meeting. I would imagine the adminstrators of this site would bars some responsibility.

I am in Ottawa and I am still waiting for a response to get verified.

Just curious that's all. I have never seen this type of verification for a sport before.
