LOL you're right, goddamn 14mm, you can't get shims or crush washers for them anywhere.

Shirley December 28th, 2011 13:37

You can actually get rubber washers from home depot or lowes. The ones that are o-rings from sinks. But they're expensive...... LOL

And yeah, my mad bull SF FH was backwards too, and I found rubber washer at home and then used the locking screw on it. :) Thank god for that locking screw.

Btw, Milan, that is one hot rifle man. You didn't even need to paint the VTAC rail! :P it was meant for you.

MilanWG December 28th, 2011 13:43

So all I need is a rubber washer and a locking screw?

Thanks bud.

Try to find shims and rubber washers. I had one left over when I used to have an AEG.. LOL

But the locking screw came with the FH you sold me.

I can't get it to go any different position - if you can figure out how, it would be much appreciated.

I would love to have the Surefire markings facing upwards :) LOL

Shim it.

I liked the ones that came from Systema for the PTW the best, but they're hard as hell to find these days. I'm trying to get my hands on a few more.

I have a few 14mm micro-mm thick shims here that can do the job as well. Probably need 5 or 6 to do a full 180 degree rotation.

Put a camera on my gun for shits and giggles.

I really need to paint off the tip of that stock. round it off too maybe.

RacingManiac December 29th, 2011 21:25

Milan, that looks slick....still not sold on the Troy rail's look, but never having handled one not sure how a round tube feels...

ILLusion December 31st, 2011 15:26

I personally like the feel of round handguards more than square setups. Even with my Troy setup, I have the rail panels and AFG setup to form a round grip, albeit a much larger one than the Extreme Battle Rail.

That looks great, I've been slowly trying to put one together myself with a used AGM body but I'm having a hard time due to budget issues.

I created some trades a few months back for engraving, not overly concerned about total realism so I threw on a cansofcom crest for the hell of it.

Anyway heres a PNG, if your interested at all in any of the vectors I can PM the *.ai file
