Actually the KFH/KX3 style brakes create extra back pressure (which also makes them popular on short barrelled ARs with the original gas block, which won't always cycle properly) and quite a few RS Krinkovs have them. They were Bulgarian AKSU muzzle brakes before being Westernized by Noveske.

The Noveske flash hider is the closest airsoft equivalent to the one on the end of an Arsenal SLR107ur. Typically when you see those ribbed handguards on a real AKS74u it would have a very similar looking flash hider as that Noveske.

edit: ah beaten by drake.

My humble little Cyma AKM.

One of the local JOC members had this gun first, refinished the wood on it. My plans for it? A few games to weather it, a proper sling, some spare batteries, and maybe a little rubber for the buttplate. Otherwise she's great the way she is. You can't mess with good looks like that!

Note: JOC member Bshantz is responsible for the wood finish. Give a round of applause!

Almost spilled my root beer laughing at that.

That actually was my plan for the gun, but figured trolling here would be mildly entertaining.

Here's my stuff.

The Dragunov is an A&K springer that I modified with PSO-1 and sling. The SVT-40 is the new one that Real Sword released recently (nah, I'm kidding. It's a deactivated real one) as is the M91-30 and Nagant 1895.

The ugly looking AK is a paintball gun.

I'll be ordering in a GHK AKM soon when my retailer gets it.

Deactivated ....... this is why I have such trouble parting with my real guns, the idea of my 91/30, SVT-40, M1895 or ANY of them being deactivated is something I'll not allow if I can stop it.

I'm inclined to agree. I'll be inheriting my great-grandfather's hunting rifle and I would never want to see it deactivated. The bolts on my guns can still move and you can still click them, so it isn't as bad as it could be - I've seen some horrible deactivations that had welds all over the place and no moving parts.

Thankfully the gunsmith who did mine knew what he was doing.
