Love the suppresser, something you don't see everyday on an AK.

This is a GHK AKMS I picked up from Airsoft Milsim after xmas. It has a real Russian surplus furniture set and a steel barrel.

Nice, I've given up on going Soviet for East Wind for my East Bloc kit, going to do the Grenztruppen der DDR route, hope to see you there.

The MPi-KM or MPi-KMs-72 is the weapon I plan to build :)

Any advice from anyone on where to get an AIMS? I might go pick up a Cyma one from Forest City if no one has any better places.

Just picked this up from the post office today, my DBoys Steel AK-74S not bad for 125 bucks!

There's a surplus store in Edmonton with East german equipment...you're making me want some!

The Keiichione January 31st, 2013 11:50

What kind of EG equipement they have ?

Is there a website ?

I couldn't say no to RPK midcaps at $8 a pop. Even with express shipping from HK it was cheaper than buying in Ontario!

Replaced the CYMA bipod with an East German one... Damn it's solid. Doesn't wiggle a millimeter any more.

She's a beauty with that bipod! ;) Too bad the real steel rear folding trunnions are so damned expensive.

Nice work though man, now you gotta fakelite those mags!

Disco_Dante February 1st, 2013 11:53

Fakeliting is the next step, absolutely!

One complaint that I have is that the hinges on the rear of the receiver protrudes out too much. It prevents me from putting on AK-weaver mounts.

Notice how that mount base is quite long, when sliding it on, the hinges on the rear of the receiver gets in the way.
