Damn forgot that too. Sorry harleyb.

It was a bit of a pain to get the poll set up as I only had five mins to put everything in from the time I posted the thread. I screwed the first one up and had to get the thread trashed.

It's not exactaly going as I had planed. I'm not sure if mods can add stuff to polls though. If you (mods) can, feel free to add Woodland and TigerStripe to the poll to correct my unworthyness. ;-)

How are you finding it? Is it doing what they said it would do in real life?

Multicam works amazingly well pretty much everywhere I've worn it. The only problem I've had was in the summer when it's really green and then people said they saw me only while I was moving. Once I stopped and crouched, it's hard to see. But like other camo's, it's just as much using the local terrain to blend in as the camo to disrupt you shape. In the height of summer, when Cadpat rules the roost here, I found the best way to "hide" in Multicam was to stand right beside a medium to large sized tree. Other players would walk within 10 feet of me and not notice. If a tree wasn't available, crouching behind a bush or laying down worked not too bad.

I mean, let's face it, the stuff doesn't work everywhere, under all circumstances, nothing does. But if you play year round (I do), it's probably the best overall camo to have, if you only use one pattern. Other players I've gamed with around here have worn Cadpat & woodland in winter and while it works ok in the bush, especially evergreens, they're toast when they're in the open.

What color gear do you use with it? OD, Tan or did ya pimp out some Multicam Webing?

Whatever works best in the environment for me.

CADPAT TW for summer season like conditions and planning on getting a set of Woodland MARPAT for fall like season, not sure if I'll be playing in winter yet.

Most of the time, I wear an OD Arktis Sigma vest, holds 14 G36 mags plus a bunch of other kit. I picked up a cheapo tan rig off Ebay last month and it works ok as well, but only holds 4 mags. I'd love to get a sigma vest in Multicam though.

Me in Multicam & my OD Sigma. Way to big to post here.

I got news for ya Harley, no one really cares about any of these polls ... and a new one, covering the exact same topic will take it's place in a month or less anyway :)

Snow_Raven November 2nd, 2005 14:36

Voted Flecktarn, but hoping to have a nice set of Swedish M90 soon

CADPAT, pretty much.
Some splodges of other country's stuff too, but not much. For example, every once in a while I have a shemagh, and every once in a while I have a black balaclava.
